Download Series 11 Calendar PDF HOBIE KAYAK BREAM SERIES 11 CALENDAR RELEASED Huskisson NSW Saturday, November 3, 2018 The calendar for the Hobie Kayak Bream Series 11 presented by Daiwa was announced today by Hobie Fishing in Huskisson, New South Wales. The calendar consists of eleven rounds with all tournaments being run over two days, commencing in early January with Strike Pro Round One to be held at the iconic Black Bream fishery of Bemm River in East Gippsland, Victoria. The series will go on hold in February when the Series 10 Australian Championship will take place in Forster, New South Wales. The 2019 series 11 will recommence with Mortgage Corp Round Two in March. The tournament will be battled out at the ever-popular Victoria location of Mallacoota situated approximately an hour south of the New South Wales border. Cranka Lures Round Three heads north to Sydney, where participation numbers have soared over the past few series, due to its variety of opportunities for every angler from sand flats right though to heavy structure. Two rounds crack off in April with Western Australia up next, hosting Lurefans Round Four on the Blackwood River, before the circuit heads back east to the South Australia – Victoria border for Atomic Round Five at Nelson on the Glenelg River. Woy Woy situated on Brisbane Waters on the New South Wales Central Coast will follow up its first appearance in a series in 2018, with Gerber Round Six in May. The next tournament will move up to warmer waters on the Gold Coast for Tackle Tactics Round Seven in late June, before a short hiatus through the final two months of winter, until mid-September. After the break, Lowrance Round 8 will fire the series up once more in Port Macquarie, New South Wales. A second event in September, JML Round Nine on the south coast of Western Australia in Albany will see the WA crew on the road to reach this idyllic location. The tournament scene then heads to the region close to the Hobie Asia Pacific factory in the Shoalhaven Region of New South Wales in October, with Pro Lure Round 10 which will be staged on the increasingly popular St Georges Basin. Due to the Hobie Tournament Team’s involvement in organising and running the 22nd Hobie 16 Worlds in Florida, USA, there will be a break, in the series 11 calendar of events, in November. In early December the series will return to Victoria, where it started way back in January, for the final event of the year at the mouth of the Snowy River, in Marlo, for Power-Pole Round 11. The Marlo round is the penultimate tournament before the Series 11 Australian Championship which will be held at a yet to be announced location and date which will be somewhere from January to March in 2020. Entries for Strike Pro Round One at Bemm River will open on November 12 at hobiefishing.com.au.
