Hobie Kayak Fishing Series 17 is designed to offer kayak anglers a professional platform to test their skills under a competitive tournament environment.
These events are open to Hobie-manufactured kayaks exclusively, including the Australian Championship, where all competitors are provided with identically fitted-out Hobie MirageDrive® kayaks.
Each Hobie Kayak Bream series round will have its own qualifying rounds, rankings, payouts, and prize schedule.
Targeting Australia’s iconic bream species—including black and yellow-fin bream. The series consists of two-day and/or single-day tournament rounds, beginning in mid-February. An additional three Hobie Fishing Associated Rounds will contribute to Angler of the Year points and qualification for the Australian Championship.
