The Hobie® event trailer and the Hobie Cat® Australasia advance party arrived on site at South Yunderup yesterday for the 2014 Hobie Kayak Bream Series Grand Final presented by Daiwa.

Today the two 40ft containers filled with 55 Hobie Pro Angler 12 kayaks, that were shipped over by rail from the Hobie Cat factory in Huskisson in NSW last week, arrived and the heavy lifting begins.

We took a few photos late yesterday and early this morning to give you a look at the venue for the tournament. All images are taken within a 100 metre radius of the Daiwa Event Site where the tournament briefings, kayak launching and weigh-ins will take place.

The location looks perfect for this fantastic annual event, on the Hobie fishing calendar, which will be held for the first time in Western Australia commencing with the Lowrance Navigation Day on Friday. The action will pick up on Saturday with the start of competition and we’ll find out who is the 2014 Hobie Kayak Bream Series champion late on Sunday afternoon.

Stay close to all that is happening as we get closer to the weekend. We are going to broadcast some live feeds over the internet so stayed tuned for the times which will also be posted of our Facebook page.

Hobie Livewells

The Hobie Livewell range is used for storage of live bait, or caught fish, that fits onto the rear storage wells of most MirageDrive® Pedal Kayaks.
