Participation in this round Qualifies anglers for Hobie Kayak Fishing Angler of the Year points, as per the “HOBIE KAYAK FISHING ANGLER OF THE YEAR (AOY)” section in the Hobie Fishing Rules.

Qualified anglers will also be invited to the Australian Championship as per the “QUALIFYING FOR THE AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP” section in the Hobie Fishing Rules.

  • Event location: Nelson public reserve/ Boat ramp @ Nelson.
  • Competition dates: 6 – 7 April 2024
  • Entry Fee: $100.00
  • Official Prefish day: Friday, 25th March 2024
  • Official Prefish Ban: From 12:00:01 am Monday, 25th March 2024 until 11:59:59 pm Thursday, 4th of April 2024 (please refer to prefish ban rules).
  • Entries Open: 25th of February 2024
  • Entries Close: 25th of March 2024

EVENT IS CAPPED TO 60 COMPETITORS.
