Hobie Bream Series Australian Championship Set Up Day Two 2016

7

Yesterday was the second day of setting up for the Hobie® Bream Series 8 Australian Championship on Queensland’s Gold Coast. The event site is looking pretty sweet now with all of the camo Hobie Pro Angler 14 kayaks kitted out with their Lowrance sounders and Power-Pole Micros.

Today the team will do a little tweaking and we’ll be ready to fire up for the qualifying anglers from all over Australia, and two from China, to register for the tournament and attend the mandatory briefing tomorrow. The action kicks off for the competitors on Friday morning with a pre-fish day where they get out in their kayaks for the first time to cruise around, sound out the area and throw a line in a non competitive environment. The competition for the Australian Championship cracks into action on Saturday and Sunday.
