Hobie Fishing Series 13 Mallacoota Round
The world continues to be a challenging space with respect to COVID however we are certainly seeing very positive signs across Australia inside the last month.
As we, just like you all monitor the daily updates and, in our case, at least aim to plan around possible outcomes we have in this case decided to cancel the Mallacoota event for the HOBIE KAYAK FISHING SERIES 13.
Despite what looks to be a possible opportunity to see the event run, the timeline between the Victorian government announcement and the event dates do not allow for this to be a firm and reasonable plan to move forward. Further to this we are ever mindful of the impact within Victoria across the last 12 months as well as your commitments to family and work and without the added pressure of travel and associated costs. We certainly believe that these events bring each of us something to look forward to and share in our mutual “obsession” for fishing, let’s take this excitement into 2022 and make it one of the best seasons yet.
Ongoing discussions with our amazing sponsors at Visit East Gippsland and the Gippsland Shire Council will see us move our efforts into early 2022.
We will have an update and live announcement of our intentions for next year later this week and we look forward to sharing with you just how we intend to roll out the balance of this series and the calendar year of 2022.
We have an unusual set of circumstances that are before us and we will absolutely aim to support you, the angling group that has supported us across the last 10+ years as well as provide a platform to our sponsors that they to can be proud to be aligned with.

Current Entries for the Mallacoota Round will be refunded within the next 14 days, please note that we cannot transfer payments to future rounds.
