First Cod for the year

HI,

I am fortunate enought to have access to some special places around my way within 20mins i could be fishingfor bream, snapper, squid and even the elusive murray cod.

went for a quick paddle with my mate chrisso and after about 1000 cast on a spinner bait,i got slanmmed, the only time i didnt have the camera running whilst casting.

The advantage of the hobie is the ability to move around quietly and control the yak whislt casting, considering the yarra in these parts is quite narrow, awsome i lurve it .... heres a small clip. as you could hear i am a little excited.....

I will be getting down more often and hope toget many more on vid so keep an eye out..




Chrisso getting up,thought i was filming but it only took a pic... not too keen to cast whilst standing up in the Outback yet, and i got no chance...

Trust you to notice that, and yes very confusing and even more so after a couple stubbies.....
their firing up at the moment and reports from some of the guys of 8 in a 2 hour session with one over 90cm..... but they are bank fishing with bait..

come on up mate anytime....
